Perfect for performance applications. CVR starters are equipped with a Nippondenso motor with a gear ratio of 4:1 (others are 3:1) and are 40% lighter than OEM (std - 10.0 lbs). This means more cranking RPM, less strain on the starter motor, and a higher life expectancy. CVR's new innovative mounting plates, which have 5 to 18 adjustment positions (except #1337) eliminate clearance problems with headers and aftermarket oil pans. These units are completely sealed with rubber ''O'' rings and the solenoid is encased in a heat-resistant aluminum housing for those close-header applications. |
